Some folks may consider me the expert in all things snow tires, I freely admit that I don't know everything.
There are other people who have different knowledge from mine.
The Snow Tire FAQ Forums provide a place where people can share their knowledge and opinions. As the Real World Snow Tire Tests have grown, I have always tried to improve them.
One of the ideas that came up this years was 'Why not let people know about our test results and opinions as they happen?' To that end, a special section was added to The Snow Tire FAQ Forums: 2006 Real World Snow Tire Tests.
Here, the tire testers are encouraged to post their opinions and comments about the tires they are testing as they test them. The 2006 Real World Snow Tire Tests section of The Snow Tire FAQ Forum can be accessed at http://www.snowtire.info/forum.About The Snow Tire FAQ-----------------------The Snow Tire FAQ is an independently operated, non-commercial site providing information on Snow Tires.

Maintaining Your Tires Keeps Your Car Healthy

We often ignore our tires unless they're flat. But they play a vital role in the overall condition of your car. Maintain them properly, and you'll save money on repairs and on fuel costs.Keeping your tires properly inflated ensures that they wear longer and can prevent accidents. Your car likely has a card or sticker attached to the door edge or the inside of the glove box door. The right amount of air your tires need is specified here.

In case your car doesn't have this sticker, you can check your owner's manual.Serious accidents can happen if your tires are under-inflated or overloaded. One of my tires blew-out on me and caused an accident. Luckily I was on a little traveled country road and was going slowly. I hate to think of what might have happened if I had been in major traffic.Buy your own quality tire gauge. You can't tell if tires are inflated properly just by looking.

And the air meters at your service station may not be correct!Ask your auto supply dealer for...

Jogging Strollers? How to Get Back in Shape!

Add a little extra push and a jogging stroller to your exercise regime and you'll be back in top condition in no time! As well as single seat, many companies also offer double and triple seat models that are great for twins or toddlers. Jogging strollers come in a wide range of prices depending on the brand and the number and types of features of a particular model.Aside from price, probably the most important feature to consider when comparing jogging strollers is the front wheel size. Unlike the traditional stroller, the 3-wheel jogging strollers are built to travel over grass, dirt, gravel and other rough terrain. Front wheel sizes range from 20+ inches to a standard 12-inch wheel.

Large pneumatic (air-filled) wheels and suspension systems provide a smooth ride whatever the terrain. For joggers who prefer off-road running, many models are...
